Start Your Day With A Vacation Mindset

"Harvard University has confirmed what yogis been teaching for thousands of years:

  • meditation reduces stress,
  • fosters clear thinking and
  • increases our capacity for empathy and compassion.

When meditating, beta waves, which indicate a state where information is being processed, decrease, and are replaced by alpha waves, which are associated with total brain coherence. The frontal and parietal lobes, which deal with reasoning, planning, and processing sensory information, slow down. And without a lot of incoming stimuli, the nervous system is able to rest, resulting in relaxation and improved functioning in the entire body.
On a physical level, meditation:

  • Lowers high blood pressure
  • Lowers the levels of blood lactate, reducing anxiety attacks
  • Decreases tension-related pain, such as, tension headaches, ulcers, insomnia, muscle and joint problems
  • Increases serotonin production that improves mood and behavior
  • Improves the immune system
  • Increases the energy level, as you gain an inner source of energy

Meditation is also a practice of self-care, that allows for a connection with the inner self. In doing so, self-esteem increases and the ability to make decisions that align with the individual’s authentic feelings and desires, and allow for better self-regulation. With regular practice of meditation:

Mentally preparing you for your day, these morning meditations will be guided by me. With soft music in the background, you begin by moving your awareness from your breath, into the sound, then slowly through your body from toes to head and off into a relaxing journey.

BRING YOUR MATS, BLANKETS AND PILLOWS FOR MAXIMUM COMFORT if you choose to lay down. We have plenty of chairs if you prefer sitting, but we recommend bringing a pillow and blanket for that too. Frequent meditators may store your items here.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we may start on time.

Tuesday Night Sound Meditations

at The Shoppes at Brant Rock

Bring Blankets, Pillows and Mats. You will be laying down, connected to Selenite Crystals which powerfully clear your energy of negativity, enhance your intuition while raising your vibration and connecting you more deeply to your higher aspect or essence. You will have a long stone for your torso and two for your hands then an eye pillow with smaller chips inside.

I will guide you down into deeper levels of consciousness with a body awareness meditation then let you go with the sound waves from my crystal singing bowls & pyramids.
